This position reports to a production manager and aims at ensuring the continuous production flow of a working shift. Moreover, it implies an active participation in the improvement continues processes.

 The first role of the supervisor is to achieve the operation objectives while mobilizing the personnel in order to create a synergy that will create work of first quality in an effective and safe environment. The person selected will become a key player of the company while creating a stimulating environment for the team and by creating an effective collaboration with the other supervisors such as the one from maintenance and engineering.
 
 As a production supervisor, you will lead a project team within a functional or operational unit. This team of 20 to 25 employees includes mainly welders, machinists, painters, etc. You will assist in development and management of budget, staffing and or business/operations results. You will supervise individual contributors.

- College or University Diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering or operations & production management;
- 4 to 7 years relevant experience in supervision within the manufacturing industry;
- Experience working in a unionized environment;
- Great knowledge of ACE tools;
- Bilingual (french and english);
- Proven Leadership, great communication skills, autonomous, dependable;
- Ability to work under pressure;

- Work shift on rotation ( 2 teams )
